Oral History: Bomb Alley in Kent, England.

In this interview I talk to Kay an oral historian, she told me about the war years and about Bomb Alley.

An unexploded bomb was discovered in Catford South East London this week.  Catford was part of the  notorious Bomb Alley.   German Bombers on their way back from raids in London and the north would drop any unused bombs before they headed out towards the English Channel. One such drop hit Sandhurst School killing 38 children and 6 teachers. It reminded me of my interview with Kay.
